This screen allows the management Leave Restrictions which are days which employees cannot book as leave. It is possible to allow assignments by authorised employees in which case those employees will be allowed to assign leaves to employees which includes any part of the restricted period.
From this screen you can add, edit or delete Leave Restrictions
Creating Leave Restrictions
To create a Leave Restriction, navigate to Leave > Configure > Restricted Leave Days, click on “Add” and fill in the necessary fields using the information below
- Name: The unique name of the current Leave Restriction
- Scope: This specifies whether the Leave Restriction applies globally or to a specific country
- Global: Applies to all countries
- National: Applies to only specified country
- Allow Assignments: Select Yes to allow selected employees assign leave on behalf of other employees, otherwise, select No
- Assigner: This is the name of an authorised employee as described above. Click “Add Assigner” or “Remove Assigner” buttons to add the name to the list or remove an existing name from the list
- Assigners: This is the list of authorised employees as described above
- From Date: This is the start of the period
- End Date: This is the end of the period
- Save Button: Click this button to save changes.
- Cancel Button: Click this button to cancel changes.
Editing Leave Restrictions
To edit a Leave Restriction, navigate to Leave > Configure > Leave Restrictions. Click on a Leave Restriction, and change the information as required (See Creating Leave Restrictions). When done, click the “Save” button to save changes or the “Cancel” button to discard changes.
Deleting Leave Restrictions
To delete a Leave Restriction, navigate to Leave > Configure > Leave Restrictions. Select the checkbox beside the Leave Restriction(s) you want to delete and the click the “Delete” button.
