This screen allows the management of manually assigned leaves for employees. When a leave type is created, the user can specify if the Leave type is automatically assigned to all employees subject to associated leave rule or manually assigned on an employee by employee basis. Use this screen to assign such leave entitlements to employees.

From this screen you can add, edit or delete Manual Leave Assignments

Creating Manual Leave Entitlement Assignments

To create a Manual Leave Assignment, navigate to Leave > Entitlements > Employee Manual Entitlements, Click on “Add” and fill in the necessary fields using the information below

  • Name: The full name of the employee to which the leave is to be assigned.
  • Search Link: Enter part of an employee’s name and click the Search Link to search the system for matching employee names. Note: a drop down list with matching employee names is shown if more than one matching employee is found otherwise the name field is automatically populated with the name of the match.
  • Leave Type: Select the leave type to be assigned from the list
  • Leave Period: Select the relevant period in which the leave type should be assigned
  • Save Button: Click this button to save changes.
  • Cancel Button: Click this button to cancel changes.
Editing Manual Leave Entitlement Assignments

To edit a Manual Leave Assignment, navigate to Leave > Entitlements > Employee Manual Entitlements. Click on a Manual Leave Assignment, and change the information as required (See Creating Manual Leave Assignments). When done, click the “Save” button to save changes or the “Cancel” button to discard changes.

Deleting Manual Leave Entitlement Assignments

To delete a Manual Leave Assignment, navigate to Leave > Entitlements > Employee Manual Entitlements. Select the checkbox beside the Manual Leave Assignment(s) you want to delete and the click the “Delete” button.
