The Pay Grades screen allows the user to create pre-defined earning breakdowns for each country which can then be selected from the Earnings History screen to automatically fill the Earning breakdown.

Creating Pay Grades

To create a Pay Grade, navigate to Admin > Job > Pay Grades, click on “Add” and fill in the necessary fields using the information below

  • Pay Grade Name: This is the unique name of the Pay Grade
  • Country: Select the country to which the pay grade relates
  • Earning period: This is the period covered by the amounts you enter for this pay grade. Select annual if you are entering annual earnings or monthly if entering monthly earnings.
  • Description: Enter a brief description of the pay grade
  • Earnings Breakdown: Fill in the earnings breakdown as appropriate
  • Calculation Splits: Click this button if you want the system to calculate the earning breakdown by splitting the gross earnings based on the splits you provide. To split the gross earning, provide information as follows
    • Gross Earning: This is the gross earnings figure you will like the system to split
    • Provide the split percentages for the relevant earning breakdowns
    • Click the “Sum Percentages” button have the system show the total percentage based on the provided split
    • Click the “Ok” button to fill in the split into the earning breakdown

Note: Your total split must equal 100% otherwise the system will not perform the split

  • Save Button: Click this button to saves changes.
  • Cancel Button: Click this button to cancel changes.
Editing Pay Grades

To edit a pay grade, navigate to Admin > Job > Pay Grades. Click on a pay grade and change the information as required (See Creating Pay Grades). When done, click the “Save” button to save changes or the “Cancel” button to discard changes.

Deleting Pay Grades

To delete a Pay grade, navigate to Admin > Job > Manage Pay Grades. Select the checkbox beside the Pay grade(s) you want to delete and the click the “Delete” button.
